Weather Update
Forecast is for a clear cool day. There is still significant snow and ice on the tops but the valleys are clear (just wet). The roads over the Mynd are still closed.
Kit Check
There will be mandatory kit requirement of: full waterproof cover (including a top with an integral hood), hat, gloves, map, compass, emergency food. This will be strictly enforced - no kit, no go. Make sure you bring the required kit.
There a few tweaks from last year:
Results for last Sunday's Cannock Chase Trig Points race are available here.
Many thanks to all who ran today and even more thanks to the Marshalls who were out in the cold winds for up to 4 1/2 hours.
Can anyone who thinks they won a prize (1st 3 in each age group or 1st 2 if a small entry one) but did not collect it contact me and I will do my best to get it to you.
Results after four races are available here as a PDF file.
Results for today's Morning After race are available here.
Runners with numbers in the range 100..180 are shown in the results as 1000..1080.
There are a few mistakes due to the chaos at the finish with walkers coming through the runners funnel and some runners not showing their numbers as they finished. We'll organise things differently next year to prevent this confusion in future.
Race results are available here (sorry, its a PDF).
Results for the Mortimer Forest trail race are available here. NB: There was a new (shorter) course this year.
Results so far in the 2014-2045 winter series are available here.
An important note from Bob (the race organiser) about access to race registration for the Trig Points race on 11th January:
There will be road closures on the A513 (Stafford to Milford) affecting the entry/exit to the cricket club and registration. Access will have to be on the A513 travelling south from Stafford. There will be NO access on the northbound A513 from Milford common to the club. Alternative (paid) parking, of coming from South or East is available at Milford Common, with a 5 minute walk to registration.
