By pure coincidence there was an aerial film crew on the Mynd while our race was going on. They have kindly allowed us to show it here.
It was made by Aerial-Imaging Specialists Limited.
Results for today's Cardingmill Canter race are here.
A larger than normal field of 114 took part and all came back safely, no incidents, no injuries. No records broken either, the going being a bit on the soggy side. The weather though was kind, it was sunny! Blimey! First home was Tim Werrett in 42:45, closely followed by Pete Vale in 43:02. First lady home was Mel Price in 48:46 and eighth overall.
Just a reminder that the Cardingmill Canter race this Saturday will be run under the new FRA rules as if it was a medium race. This means you will be required to carry full waterproof body cover, hat & gloves, map & compass and a whistle. If you haven't got the kit you will not be able to race. Please bring all the required kit.

The consolidated results for the 2013 Shropshire winter series after 4 rounds are available here.
Due to a computer cock-up the results previously published for the early starters for the Long Mynd Valleys where 10 minutes out.
These have now been corrected along with the impact on the combined results.
Club Championships Update
The first three races in the Club Championships have gone already, leaving only 17 more. Remember you must do at least one race at each distance (except U18s, M60+ and L50+), and at least one away race. The next races are the Cardingmill Canter (Saturday 1st March at 1pm), Ras yr Aran (Sunday 22nd March at 1pm) and Pendle (Saturday 5th April at 12:30pm for the ladies and 2pm for the men). Remember Pendle is pre-entry only!
