The inaugural Jinlye Jog was held on the trails and hillsides around All Stretton on Thursday night, 8th November. This is the first in a series of three races with a difference - they’re all held in darkness. Thankfully the course markers were almost up to the job and all but a few got around a fairly runnable course without too much difficulty. Apologies to the one or two who got attached by a rogue bramble we’d missed when gardening one of the tracks and to the three I had to penalise for missing a checkpoint inadvertently. A huge thank you to our helpers and to all the runners (from a surprisingly wide selection of clubs) who mucked in, turned out, and raised just under £200 for Headway, the Brain Injury Trust.
