I woke up on Saturday morning to see the valley clouded in mist and drizzle. Oh dear! It was lovely yesterday. Not to worry, as the morning fully unfolded it cleared and we had mostly clear blue skies for the race, gee that's better. After the race it clouded over again and started raining. Someone was looking after us that day!
115 runners set off and 115 safely returned. Leading the way in was Steve Cale, and the first lady home was Anna Bartlett, newly of Mercia, and setting a new ladies record! (47:19).
Full results can be seen here and pictures from Alistair here and a few more from Geoff Cowell here.
Thank-you to all the martials that helped out and thank-you to the National Trust for giving us some space for the race HQ.
See you all again next year.
