Mynd Drover Challenge Walk
As part of the annual, week long Church Stretton Walking Festival - www.churchstrettonwalkingfestival.co.uk , the Mynd Drover is a 26 mile, hilly and exceptionally scenic, challenge walk/run with 4,600 feet of ascent. Shorter options include an 18 mile route with 3,100 feet of ascent and a 13 mile route with 2,150 feet of ascent.
Each self-guided route will take walkers and runners to the more remote corners of the beautiful Longmynd range, along some of the less used, ancient, sunken lanes and drover’s tracks, through spectacular south Shropshire landscape.
There are also limited places on a guided 13 mile walk.
Water and snacks will be provided at checkpoints en-route and a meal with hot and cold drinks at the finish.
Route details and GPX files will be provided to entrants in the week before.
The event starts and finishes at Church Stretton School where free parking is available.

This is a popular event which sold out last year therefore we recommend booking early to avoid disappointment.
